MEET DR.PAVLAKOS
Dr. Vasilios "Bill" Pavlakos has dedicated his professional life to the field of dentistry, where his journey began in his hometown of Albuquerque. With a passion for creating beautiful smiles and an unwavering commitment to his patients, Dr. Pavlakos has earned a reputation as a meticulous and compassionate dentist. His enthusiasm for “the art of dentistry” continues to be evident in every patient he treats, as he approaches each case with the same care and precision as if he were treating a member of his own family. Actually, after 42 years of practicing dentistry it feels like his patients are his family.
Dr. Pavlakos is native of Albuquerque. He graduated from Highland High School and did his undergraduate studies at The University of New Mexico. He attended Dental School at the University of Missouri in Kansas City where he got his degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1982.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
Dr. Pavlakos enjoys attending the New Mexico Dental Convention annually, along with his entire staff. Continual learning is important not only to Dr. Bill but also to his long-time staff.
OUTSIDE THE PRACTICE
Dr. Pavlakos has been married for over 45 years to his wife Evangeline “Vangie” and they have two children. His son, Nectarios ( also a dentist, who teaches dentistry and works in the Insurance and Dental policy field) and Rose who is Doctor of Pharmacy and works for UCSF Cardiology in San Francisco. He has 3 beautiful grandchildren and is a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church. If you go the Greek Festival which is held in October each year, look for Dr. Bill. He will be on the stage playing in the Greek Band, the Aegean Sounds. You will find him on the keyboards. He enjoys playing the piano and keyboards and in his spare time, Bill is an avid golfer.
While Dr. Bill will be retiring this July, his long-time dental hygienists will still be at GS Dental to carry on his legacy of providing the utmost of professionalism and care for their patients.
